Our Commitment
Paper Group's paper products are made from 100% Sustainable Natural Resources. Paper Group is committed to protecting the natural resources and is proudly working with the leading developer of fiber plantations and one of the world's largest pulp and paper mills.
The mill’s fiber plantation developed a pulpwood species that matures at six years (compared to 40 years or longer for pulpwood trees in temperate climate). To balance the goals of plantation development with biodiversity conservation, they are committed to the protection of High Conservation Value Forests (HCVF) in their concessions, becoming one of only two pulp and paper manufacturers in the world to make this commitment.
They have the highest implementation of audits to prevent illegal logging. Our mill is the first to achieve certification for Sustainable Plantation Forest Management under the Eco-labeling Institute. In addition, they received the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Champions of the Earth Award for 2006, 2007 and 2008, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified in 2008, and Environmental Choice Program certified (Eco-Logo).
